A name, Henricus Johannis, on bif. 1/4, may not necessarily refer to a (secondary) provenance in the parish church of Birkkala (Pirkkala Fi), situated near to the city of Tampere. It can be a pen trial written by a schoolboy. See the review below accompanying the description of cameral records. The annotation proves, however, that the original manuscript is of Finnish provenance, primary or secondary. An unusual cameral record on f. 1'seems to indicate the same.

F. V Pen trials, e.g."Henricus Johannis [...] schola [...]" and "Sum Nomine Henricus [...]. Relating to the name Henricus Johannis, Leinberg 1903 p. 41 mentions Gronblad's No. 2583. Leinberg presents him as a perpetual curate of Birkkala around the year 1630. (See f. 4", too, which is the latter singleton of the bifolium. Saarenheimo 1974 p. 668.) It cannot be determined whether the passage was written in Henricus's school town (Åbo ?), or in his situation at Birkkala. The earliest documents of this fragment date from the year 1625 (Masko). Hence the antiphoner seems to have been dismembered in the mid-1620s at the latest.
As a general remark it is worth remembering here that at least occasionally students ot the Åbo cathedral school assisted the local chambers. Lehtinen 1961 p. 153.
