15/16th cc. Large and small initials are alike in their coloration and shape: written in text ink and highlighted with red. Quadratic notation on a red four-line staff (13.5 mm, ruled with a rastrum), linea, custos. In general a vertical stroke is drawn on both sides of a note head. Thus the hand is influenced by the so-called "decadent" style of quadratic notation. Photograph off. V on p. 218.
